I was a customer for a few years and enjoyed the service but I stopped using it a couple years ago after some things changed in my life and I could no longer afford to pay $34 for $20 worth of mediocre produce. When Oregon’s stay at home order was issued, I decided to reopen my membership and placed an order for a veggie box, eggs, steak, and rice. The delivery arrived on time but the rice and steaks were missing ($20 worth of food). No big deal, I thought, so I called and left a message letting them know and asking for either a refund or to deliver the missing food. No response. A few days later I called again, leaving a similar message. No response. I emailed. No response. I called again a couple days later. No response. I emailed again and FINALLY got a response. Was there an apology? Nope. Was there any explanation for why I wasn’t hearing from them? I was told that they were prioritizing health and safety. I replied that a phone call or response to my first email wouldn’t put anyone at risk, same with issuing a refund. It has now been 11 days since the delivery and I still haven’t received the $20 refund for the items that weren’t delivered nor have I received any explanation or apology for the terrible communication. This service is already overpriced and it’s just not worth this kind of hassle. There are many CSAs and other delivery services competing for my business, I’ll be choosing a different grocery delivery from now on.
