DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE DISABLED, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. This was the worst clinic experience I’ve ever had. The receptionist (the one with the drawn on eyebrows that look like they could jump off and eat you) watched me get out of a taxi, in my crutches, in the snow and allowed me to struggle with the door. She made no effort to get up and help until I was already in the door. When I finally got to the desk I was out of breath, and I even dropped my crutch. She just scowled at me the whole time. When I was finally called in to see a doctor she asked me if I needed help (even though I was already standing with all of my things). I also told her several times that the address on my Care card had changed because I had just moved. She didn’t take note, and entered the wrong address on my X-ray acquisition. The doctor I saw was nice. The receptionist also never helped me with the door out, and every patient who was waiting also watched me struggle (I hope they all slip and fall) to get their heavy door open. When I went to get my X-ray at Critical Point they told me they would send it back to the doctor here, and I BEGGED them not to. I would rather wait 6 hours than have to go back for even a minute. I told them I came to this place, and every single staff member I mentioned it to said that they had heard countless stories like this before. I should have gone to Critical Point in the first place. When I left Yaletown I cried all the way home in the taxi. I have never heard of a medical institute this inaccessible. Snobby, and rude. I would rather be in agony than come here again.
